10 years ago, during the height of the global financial crisis, the Cash For Your Warhol project was born. Artist Geoff Hagradon has since installed hundreds of CFYW street signs around the country and his iconic commentary on art market consumerism has been acquired by such notable institutions such as the Andy Warhol Foundation, the MIT List Visual Arts Center, and Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College.
To commemorate the ten year anniversary of the project, Hashimoto Contemporary is pleased to offer two brand new editions by the artist, a throwback to the memorable "Crazy Eddie" tv commercials seen throughout the greater NYC area throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
