Opening Reception: Danym Kwon "A Soft Day"

Danym Kwon, a Korean woman in a blue dress, stands next to her large triptych painting of a boy reading on a surreally large bowl in the dessert. The painting hangs on a dark green wall in an art gallery.

The opening reception of Danym Kwon's inaugural solo exhibition A Soft Day  was cozy, to say the least. Opening to a full house, the tranquilness of Kwon's pastel meditations on the special moments of everyday life was not lost on a single viewer that night. Many thanks to all the friends and family who came out and made the evening truly special.

If you missed the opening reception, the exhibition is on view through through January 27th. For information about our upcoming exhibition schedule, email SF@hashimotocontemporary.com
