A Decade Of The Jaunt
Hashimoto Contemporary is pleased to present A Decade Of The Jaunt, a group exhibition curated by The Jaunt.
The Jaunt is a unique art project that sends artists all over the world to experience new places and find inspiration along the way. Over the last 10 years, close to 100 artists have shared their creative process during their travels and created artworks inspired by their newfound inspiration, resulting in a huge archive of artworks.
For its 10 year anniversary exhibition, The Jaunt has invited a selection of artists to create original artworks inspired by their travels and explorations. Alongside the original artworks there will be a series of prints exhibited from the extensive Jaunt Print Archive, and a series of new prints will be released exclusively for the exhibition.

LOS ANGELES - Hashimoto Contemporary is pleased to present A Decade of The Jaunt - a group exhibition curated by Jeroen Smeets, founder and curator of The Jaunt. Featuring over 30 international artists, the exhibition celebrates ten years of sending artists on trips around the world.
Founded in 2013, The Jaunt is a unique art project that enables artists to go on exciting trips throughout the globe to experience new places and find inspiration along the way. Over the last ten years, nearly 100 artists have shared their creative process during their travels and created artwork inspired by their newfound inspiration, resulting in an eclectic and monumental archive of artworks and experiences.
To celebrate the ten year anniversary, The Jaunt and Hashimoto Contemporary have invited a selection of artists to create original works inspired by travel and exploration. Alongside the original works, a selection of archive prints will be on view with a series of new screen prints created to commemorate the exhibition.
