Carlos Rodriguez
Carlos Rodriguez (b. 1980, Mexico City ) is based in Mexico City, where his artistic journey unfolds. Initially trained in graphic design at the Universidad de San Luis Potosí, he transitioned from a career in advertising as an Illustrator and art director to a formal painter.
Exploring the realms of sexual desire, gender, and identity, Rodriguez employs drawings, paintings, and ceramics that pay homage to the male form. Drawing inspiration from classical painting, naïve art, and elements of adult entertainment, his work captures the essence of men immersed in natural expressions of play and fantasy.
Over the past four years, Rodriguez has showcased his art on the global stage, exhibiting in renowned galleries across New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Hong Kong, and Dubai.
