Biography

CHIAOZZA is the collaborative artistic venture of American artists Adam Frezza and Terri Chiao. Founded in 2011, CHIAOZZA is recognized for their vibrant and whimsical creations that transcend single mediums, working over painting, sculpture, installation inside and beyond institutional walls. The artistic duo seamlessly blend their backgrounds in sculpture, painting, and design, creating a common visual language across CHIAOZZA works that center playful amorphous natural shapes in rich, pungent hues across all explored mediums. Celebrating organic forms and exploring spatial relationships, CHIAOZZA’s practice sparks a sense of joy and curiosity in viewers that invigorates the world beyond their imagination.
